News Release FISHMAPPER V1.05 FOR THE NORTH CENTRAL GULF (REGION 02) RELEASED TODAY THEODORE, ALABAMA, 20 MAR 2002. Coastal Software Corporation today released the first regional version of their new FishMapper^TM trip planning and chart plotting software for offshore fishing. The new North Central Gulf region (Region 02) covers the Gulf coast of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida from Lafayette, LA to Tallahassee, FL. The exact boundaries are 28 to 31 degrees north latitude, and 84 to 92 degrees west longitude. Included in this region are: GPS coordinates for 797 natural and artificial reefs, wrecks, and other fishing spots; GPS coordinates for 3,578 oil and gas platforms; 345,600 depth soundings; and highly detailed locations of the 100-and 300-fathom lines using the latest NOAA/NGDC bathymetric data. FishMapper^TM v1.05 runs under all recent versions of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT4.0, 2000, XP-Home, and XP-Professional. FishMapper^TM is currently sold through a network of over 12 sporting goods and offshore fishing tackle dealers in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Coastal Software Corporation is a privately held company headquartered in Theodore, Alabama. Its current product line includes FishMapper^TM v1.05 for the North Central Gulf of Mexico.
