FISHMAPPER V1.05 FOR THE NORTH
WESTERN GULF
(REGION 01) RELEASED TODAY
THEODORE, ALABAMA, 05 JUN 2002. Coastal Software Corporation today released
the latest regional version of their popular FishMapperTM trip
planning and chart plotting software for offshore fishing. The new North Western Gulf region
(Region 01) covers the Gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana from Brownsville, TX to Morgan
City, LA. The exact boundaries are 25 to 30 degrees
north latitude, and 91 to 98 degrees west longitude. Included in this region are: GPS
coordinates for 178 natural and artificial reefs, wrecks, and other fishing
spots; GPS coordinates for 4,222 oil and gas platforms; 504,000 depth
soundings; and highly detailed locations of the 100-and 300-fathom lines
using the latest NOAA/NGDC bathymetric data.
FishMapperTM v1.05 runs under all recent versions
of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT4.0, 2000,
XP-Home, and XP-Professional.
FishMapperTM is currently sold through a network of over 27
sporting goods and offshore fishing tackle dealers in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. It can also be purchased online at
