News Release FISHMAPPER V2.0 STANDARD AND 3D EDITIONS RELEASED TODAY THEODORE, ALABAMA, 26 MAY 2003. Coastal Software Corporation today released version 2.0 of their popular FishMapper^TM trip planning and chart plotting software for offshore fishing. FishMapper^TM v2.0 Standard Edition includes many new features, including: Updated artificial reef and oil/gas rig locations The reef material, if known, for all artificial reefs NOAA reporting stations and data buoys, with online data retrieval Updated 20-, 100-, and 300-fathom lines for all regions Creation of non-reef waypoints for trip planning Modification of previously-entered private reef and waypoint data Backup of private reef and waypoint data to floppy disk Selection of nautical miles, statute miles, or kilometers for distances Fast and easy online registration Continuous depth readout on status bar for current mouse location Map labels for major cities In addition to these new features in the Standard Edition, FishMapper^TM v2.0 3D Edition includes high-resolution color 3D map backgrounds showing details of the seafloor, and also supports color printing of trip charts. Both the Standard and 3D Editions of FishMapper^TM v2.0 are available immediately for the following regions: North Western Gulf (Region 01), covering the Gulf coast of Texas and Louisiana from Brownsville, TX to Morgan City, LA; North Central Gulf (Region 02), covering the Gulf coast of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida from Lafayette, LA to Tallahassee, FL; West Florida Coast (Region 03), covering the Gulf coast of the Florida peninsula from Panama City, FL to Cape Sable, FL; South Florida and Keys (Region 04), covering the southern Gulf and Atlantic coasts of the Florida peninsula from Port Charlotte, FL to Jupiter Inlet, FL; and East Florida Coast (Region 05), covering the Atlantic coast of the Florida peninsula and Georgia from Key Largo, FL to Savannah, GA. FishMapper^TM v2.0 runs under all recent versions of Microsoft Windows, including Windows 95, 98, 98SE, ME, NT4.0, 2000, XP-Home, and XP-Professional. FishMapper^TM is currently sold through a network of over 36 sporting goods and offshore fishing tackle dealers in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
